The Fred Astaire Studio located in Williamsville, NY came under new
ownership in the summer of 2005 by Andrei and Anastasia Abrashin.
Competing in their country of Russia since the ages of 5 and 8, Andrei
and Anastasia joined talent, and became competitive partners in 1995.
Competing for 10 years, they have won several titles including their
most recent National title in the 9 dance championship. This was their
third win, and they are the current title holders. After a successful
career, and countless wins, the Abrashins made the difficult decision
to retire. They chose to settle in Williamsville, NY and concentrate on
their studio, and teaching their students. We are so fortunate to have
dancers of this caliber, and with such qualifications in our Western
New York Area. In addition to Andrei and Anastasia, there are three
other teachers on staff at Fred Astaire Buffalo.
Our
staff consists of five teachers that are available to meet your dancing
needs. We have both male and female instructors that can accommodate
any singles that may be interested in lessons and couples are welcome
as well. In fact, if you are preparing for your wedding we can
choreograph a customized dance to your own wedding song. We have
students of all age ranges beginning at 14, all the way up to 86. Fred
Astaire Buffalo is also qualified to teach students that are interested
in both social dancing, and those that are want to show off their
skills at the competitive level. We go on several competitions year
round, and students of all levels are welcome to join our buffalo team.
